Unlocking Ontario SME Energy Sector Opportunities

Ontario’s Energy Future Will Create New Markets.

SMEs who collaborate early will gain the greatest advantage.

Ontario Energy Collaborative Association believes Ontario’s SME energy companies will gain significant value from a clearer understanding of how the province’s energy transition will shape new markets and opportunities. As electrification accelerates, SMEs that understand their place in the transition and how their capabilities match emerging needs will be better positioned to grow.

Clarifying the role of SMEs in Ontario’s evolving energy sector is essential. Our energy ministry, regulators, municipalities, and electricity LDCs are preparing for major changes. SME leaders who gain insight into the details shaping these plans are better positioned to align and adapt. Obtaining an Ontario energy reality check helps SMEs focus efforts and pursue opportunities with greater confidence.

Direct connection with utility, municipal, regulatory, and sector leaders enables SMEs to compare perspectives, validate assumptions, and understand the factors influencing decisions. These relationships reduce uncertainty, reveal practical opportunities, and create pathways for collaboration.

The OECA Ontario Energy Symposium 2026 brings these elements together in one practical forum. SME leaders seeking clearer insight, stronger relationships, and a better understanding of upcoming opportunities will benefit from attending. We encourage Ontario’s SME energy companies to take part in this discussion.

Registration is complimentary and limited to 100 leaders.
